Corey Guice is a 2026 Horizon High School graduate and now a Freshman at Tuskegee University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He is a scholar, athlete, and future engineer with a heart for service.

Throughout high school, he maintained a 4.0 weighted GPA while competing as a dual-sport athlete in basketball and soccer, learning discipline, leadership, and how to perform under pressure. That same focus carried into his academics, where he earned acceptances to top engineering programs including North Carolina A&T, Florida A&M, Howard, and Morehouse before choosing to continue his family’s HBCU legacy at Tuskegee University.

While at Tuskegee, he will make history by joining the university’s inaugural men’s soccer team. He plans to use his degree to design solutions that strengthen underserved communities and mentor young people who look like him by giving back through local youth soccer clinics and showing them they belong in any space they work hard enough to enter.

Guice doesn’t run from challenges; he embraces change, knowing that in an ever-changing world, character endures.
