About Us
When people enjoy cultural experiences, embrace meaningful mentorship, and explore media arts, they can ultimately strengthen their own communities. How? By sharing with others. Implementing nontraditional ideas is the impetus to lives being changed for the better. That is why the ONYX Foundation, a nonprofit 501c3 organization, stands rooted in these three pillars as we strive to uplift underserved communities. 
Since 2017, the ONYX Foundation has awarded educational scholarships to individual students and funding to deserving schools. As we grow, we will seek to collaborate with other nonprofit organizations with aligned goals. These partnerships will help us maximize our impact and fuel our mission: to provide programs that help bring awareness of cultural influences in the arts and historical issues that pertain to minority communities in Florida.
